Quds
It is called “Bait al-Maqdis” and Aelia, and it is the political, cultural and economic capital of Palestine, and the destination for the world’s attention because of the Islamic and Christian sanctities in it. It contains the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is the first of the two qiblahs and the third of the Two Holy Mosques, the Dome of the Rock, and the Church of the Resurrection.
Urbanization extended in Jerusalem to reach the city of Ramallah in the north, and the city of Bethlehem in the south. Jerusalem is located in the heart of the mountains of central Palestine and in the heart of all of Palestine. Since ancient times, it has been the main transportation center in Palestine, in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan Valley. In the north and south of Palestine, Jerusalem is linked by virtue of this site to all the cities of Palestine such as Nazareth, Haifa, Nablus, Jaffa, Ramleh, Hebron, Beersheba, Gaza, Jericho, and Baysan.
Hifa

Surrounded by fertile plains, it is an ancient Canaanite city more than five thousand years old, and has always been an important port for the central regions of Palestine, especially for Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
It was famous for its orange groves, and Jaffa gave its name to the most famous types of oranges in the world. It was also famous for its textile, soap, casting and metalworking industries. Jaffa played a prominent role as a civilizational and cultural center, in which the mothers of Palestinian newspapers such as Filastin and Al-Defaa newspapers were published.
Hebron
It is located to the south of Bethlehem. It is an ancient historical city, where the Ibrahimi Mosque is located. It is famous for a number of industries such as vegetable canning, shoe factories, leather, fibres, ceramics and glass. The city of Hebron is the main commercial center for the whole of Mount Hebron, as well as a religious, cultural and administrative center.
Bethlehem
It is located south of the city of Jerusalem, and it contains the Church of the Nativity, where Christ, peace be upon him, was born. It is famous for its tourism industries such as the manufacture of antiques, shells and embroidery.
Due to its distinguished religious and historical importance and its proximity to the city of Jerusalem, Bethlehem developed as an important tourist center, and the importance of its location in the middle of the Hebron Mountains had the greatest impact on its growth and prosperity.
Ramallah
The population of Ramallah Governorate is approximately three hundred thousand people. It is considered the twin city of Al-Bireh, and it is separated from the city of Jerusalem in the north by about fifteen kilometers. It attains a position of political importance due to its proximity to the Palestinian capital, and the presence of the offices of the Palestinian National Authority among its territories.
The Palestinian president takes it as his main headquarters, in addition to that, it is a city of cultural importance and may embody its interest in culture by establishing Palestinian cultural centers. About eight hundred and eighty meters above sea level.
